The PriorSpec II is a perfectly ergonomic handheld microscope for visual inspection of fibre optic terminations. Battery powered with a long life LED illumination system the PriorSpec II is always ready for use. A range of over 50 snap in connector adapters ensures compatibility with practically any type of fibre optic cable in use today. Knurled finger screws enable the user to easily bring the fibre into the centre of the field of view of to scan across an MT style ferrule to inspect the individual fibres. With magnifications from 200x to 400x and high quality objective lenses the PriorSpec II is more than capable of resolving pits and scratches of <1.0µm.
