How much work is required to upgrade
a system depends on the age of the system. The comments
below will let you know what is required for most upgrades,
if your question is not answered please contact techsupport.
Controllers:
1. Systems
with H29 model numbers can be upgraded directly to
H30 controllers, no extra change is required.
2. H29
and H30 model number controllers can be upgraded to
accept more accessories, to a maximum of 2 filter wheels,
1 stage (encoded), 1 focus (encoded), 3 shutters, and
a 4th axis (encoded), and trigger board. Contact tech
support with
your upgrade request.
3. ES9 model number controllers
can be upgraded to accept more accessories to a maximum
of 2 filter wheels, 1 stage 1 focus (encoded) and 3 shutters.
4. ES10 model number controllers
are fully loaded but can be upgraded to include z axis
encoders.
5. Model number
H126 H127 H28 controllers can no longer be upgraded. The
accessories attached to H126 and H127 controller will require
modification to work with H29 and H30 controllers. H128
model number controller accessories may require updating
to work with H29 and H30 controllers.
Stages:
1. Older
stages working with H126/H127/H128 systems are most likely
to require a plug and play upgrade to allow the H29 and
H30 systems to recognise the stage or other accessories.
Joysticks:
1. .H126 H127 H128 controller
Joysticks are not compatible with H29 and H30 controllers.
Service
of Equipment:
We at Prior continually improve
our stages and the technology that makes them work. By
getting your stage serviced it will be cleaned, retested
and brought as far up to date a possible. This is likely
to improve the performance of older stages. Contact tech
