Universal Piezo Focusing Inserts from Prior

The NanoScanZ™ Piezo Focusing Stage Insert has brought an unsurpassed level of performance and convenience to research imaging applications. With the ability to create Z stacks with nanometre precision at an amazingly high speed (typically 50 frames per second) the NanoScanZ is the perfect accessory for any high-resolution, three dimensional imaging application. Prior Scientific are proud to announce two new versions of the NanoScanZ insert featuring 100µm and 200µm travel ranges that are designed to fit both motorised and manual XY stages sold by companies such as Zeiss, Leica, Olympus and Nikon. This makes it entirely possible to upgrade an existing microscope with a NanoScanZ Piezo Insert. The NanoScanZ system is already supported in many of the most popular imaging software packages, particularly those which are capable of driving a piezo device through an analogue voltage such as NIS Elements from Nikon, MetaMorph from Molecular Devices and Image Pro from Media Cybernetics.

Motorised Stages for Semi-Conductor Applications

ProScan from Prior Scientific is a brand synonymous with quality. This family of products includes one of the largest ranges of motorised scanning stages designed from conception for use in the Semi-Conductor industry. Featuring travel ranges including 6” (150mm), 8” (200mm) and 12” (300mm) ProScan stages are perfectly positioned to cope with the widest range of wafer styles. Samples can be rotated manually or automatically and held in place with vacuum where necessary. Stages designed to seamlessly interface with automatic wafer loaders are also a key component in the ProScan system. These stages are all available as standard products, for more exotic applications Prior are happy to design and manufacture custom OEM solutions. In the past these have included stages which have featured novel finishes to ensure complete electrical conductivity to prevent damage to sensitive components, such as hard disc drive platters. ProScan offers unrivalled performance, in terms of precision, accuracy and straightness of travel assuring perfect results every time.

Prior Launch Incubated Stages

Prior have launched a range of incubators for the Proscan and NanoScanZ range of stages. Incubators are now available for the, ProScan H117, NanoScanZ 100 and 200, upright stages for macroscopes and a well plate incubator is available for the NanoScanZ 250 and 500. Prior also announce the launch of the HTHE2 stage and incubator which includes a full size heating plate in the stage which provides 100% even heating of the well plate at all times, no matter which well is being veiwed.
